By registering for and participating in the 2024 Public Lands Alliance Convention and Trade Show (“PLA 2024”), I agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I am aware that participating in the Event involves certain risks, including but not limited to the possible infection from communicable viruses and diseases, personal injury, and property damage. Risk of exposure may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of others who may attend PLA 2024 or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have contact. I voluntarily assume all such risks.
Release of Claims: I am an adult participant (18 years or older) and understand that there are inherent risks in attending PLA 2024. I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and forever discharge PLA, its officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, and affiliates, from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses, whether at law or in equity, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with my participation in PLA 2024.
Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold PLA harmless from any injury, illness, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) incurred as a result of any claims, demands, actions, or other proceedings arising out of my participation in PLA 2024.
Photography and Videography: I grant PLA the right to take photographs and/or videos of me during PLA 2024 and to use such materials for promotional and marketing purposes.
Other: I agree to comply with all procedures and participation requirements that may be implemented by PLA, the Hilton San Francisco Union Square, and other event venues.
I have read this Waiver of Liability Clause and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that I am giving up substantial legal rights by agreeing to it, and I do so freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
