Silent Auction

The Silent Auction is a fun opportunity for convention attendees and exhibitors to bid on items for a worthy cause. The Silent Auction will be held on February 27 and 28, 2018 in the exhibit hall during the convention. Proceeds benefit the Public Lands Alliance Education and Scholarship Fund, providing PLA member organizations with support to attend valuable trainings throughout the year.

Donations Requested

Donations to the silent auction allow you to publicize your organization's or company's interpretive message, product or service. We encourage you to be creative and work with your team and partners to assemble unique donation packages for the silent auction.

Popular items that receive top bids include trips and adventure packages, handmade crafts, jewelry, food items and gift baskets. Be sure to consider items that are easy to ship and pack and include shipping logistics for items that are large, fragile or heavy.

Sending Your Auction Items

You may either bring your Silent Auction donation(s) with you to Palm Springs, CA or you may mail them to “PLA Show (Assoc. Freight) C/O GES”, between January 23 and February 21, 2018.

Shipping Instructions:

  • Download and attach this pink shipping label to each package you are mailing.

  • Email tradeshow@publiclandsalliance.org with the shipping and tracking information, expected date of arrival and donation description.

Please note, items arriving before January 23 or after February 21 will not be received.
