Summer Retail Check-In: Progress, Trends and Observations, 2023 Edition

Each year, we like to check in with our nonprofit members and agency colleagues to take the temperature of our public lands retail sector. As the summer progresses, we all know that retail sales ebb and flow, but each year there seem to be numerous mitigating factors and we’re curious how you’re doing. Is there anything that can be done to change course in the middle of a season? In this informal web chat, we’ll discuss the summer’s progress, trends, employee observations, and other factors that might affect how your retail outlet and others around the country are faring.
