Description
The Public Lands Alliance and the Forest Service’s Great American Outdoor Act hosted a session on November 4, 2021 to discuss implementation of the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA), National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund (LRF), on National Forest System lands.
The Forest Service (FS) provided updates, shared information and answered questions about the implementation of the GAOA, addressing how best to use this Fund to reduce the FS deferred maintenance backlog while improving the quality of the visitor experience.
