Education Roundtable: Episode 3

Thursday, October 5th 2-3 PM ET

The finances of education are vital in sharing public lands with the public. In this virtual roundtable, we’ll learn from one another’s financial structure and work towards creating intentional and sustainable education programs. We invite you to share a summary of your organization’s budget and come prepared to answer the following: What are your revenue streams and who are your customers? Do you operate at a loss? What type of staff run your programs? This is YOUR forum, so join us to chat and exchange ideas with your colleagues!

(Note: Each roundtable is an independent session – attendance at the convention session or previous web chats is not required.)

Presenters:

  • Daniel Huecker, Field Institute Director, Sequoia Parks Conservancy

  • Samantha Young,Education Manager, Anza-Borrego Foundation
