Voice of the Visitor 2022 looks at the prior year’s tourism industry performance as well as the coming year. Across 20 different attraction types, PGAV Destinations paints a picture of the many factors that will shape 2022’s performance for thousands of destinations across America. Of special interest this year is a deeper dive into the tracking of visitation, behaviors, and motivations of people of color. Looking back on the industry’s performance over 2021 and entering a third year of the COVID-19 pandemic, one thing is abundantly clear -- the attraction industry is amazingly resilient.
