Tram rides sponsored by Gateway Arch Park Foundation.

What better place to kick off the start of PLA 2022 than at the iconic Gateway Arch?! The result of a $250 million public private partnership, Gateway Arch National Park is the perfect venue to connect with the diverse, cultural elements of our host city. Peruse Museum exhibits, ride the tram to the top of the 630-foot Arch, and shop The Arch Store for compelling products that connect visitors to the theme and mission of the park, all while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.

As of January 18, this event has been sold out based on current NPS capacity limits. Please contact amy@publiclandsalliance.org to be placed on a wait list.

Date and Time: Sunday, March 6 | 7pm - 10pm (doors open at 6:45pm)

Price: $50 (Save $25 when you register using your Hyatt hotel confirmation number!)

Location: Gateway Arch National Park* (an easy walk from the Hyatt Regency hotel)

Capacity: 300 guests**

*Gateway Arch security measures require all visitors to pass through an airport style security checkpoint. All participants will also be required to adhere to any NPS COVID-19 safety requirements of the Arch, even if they are different from PLA 2022’s COVID-19 protocols.
**Due to current NPS COVID-19 capacity protocols at the Arch (as of 12/01/21), this event is limited to 300 participants. Should NPS’s capacity limits change, we will increase ticket availability. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and a wait list will be established if necessary.

Accessibility at the Gateway Arch

Other than the trams to the top, the Gateway Arch complex and surrounding grounds are fully accessible. The tram ride to the top of the Arch is not fully accessible for guests with mobility impairments, as no wheelchairs, scooters or strollers are permitted on the Observation Deck.

To reach the top and return, you’ll need to manage a minimum of 96 steps (divided into six flights) and you may need to stand for 30-45 minutes. There is no seating or restrooms located at the top of the Arch. In the museum there is a representation of the keystone piece of the Gateway Arch, which replicates the experience as much as possible for visitors who cannot make the trip to the top, including a livestream feed of the view from the top.
