The Ozark National Scenic Riverways and US Coast Guard Auxiliary has joined forces to provide American Canoe Association-qualified kayaking instructors to conduct kayaking clinics and interpretive floats. With the Auxiliary’s participation, the park is able allocate more staff to resource protection while maximizing the number of visitors who receive river safety messaging.
We’ll demonstrate the role each agency plays, keeping in mind that partnerships can include non-traditional sources outside of friends groups.
