In the face of a changing climate, land managers, policy makers, and advocacy organizations need access to high quality data to inform decisions. Adventure Scientists trains outdoor enthusiasts to collect the field data needed to help scientific partners fill data gaps. Volunteers are trained to collect samples, deploy monitoring devices, conduct surveys, and more. This workshop will explore methods of working with community scientists to get high quality data.
