Interpretation has had a long and storied history with federal land management agencies -- visitors coming to any public land are looking for information that will enhance their experience. Partnership agreements frequently highlight the nonprofit partner’s role in education and interpretation. Thus, many agency partners focus heavily on interpretive merchandise sold in visitor centers or ranger stations. Join us as we delve into the creative collaboration process necessary to provide effective interpretation beyond just retail services.
