The Flagstaff Watershed Protection Project is a first of its kind forest restoration project created by an overwhelmingly approved bond voted on by the citizens of Flagstaff. The project is a multi-partner collaboration between local, state and federal agencies as well as private contractors and nonprofits. These partnerships have led to unique opportunities and leveraging of grant funds that would otherwise not be available.
