Through the Education and Scholarship Fund, the Public Lands Alliance provides its members with access to professional development opportunities sponsored by PLA. Scholarships help provide financial support to cover registration fees, travel and lodging expenses for PLA members.
Eligibility: staff and board members of Public Lands Alliance member organizations, particularly new staff and board members who have never before attended the PLA Convention and Trade Show. If your organization has received funds for two consecutive years, there is a one-year waiting period before an application from your organization will be considered again for funding.
Deadline: completed application forms are due to our office by December 6, 2019.
Scholarship recipients are encouraged to stay at the convention hotel so they can take part in all aspects of the event, including informal networking that occurs during non-programmed times.
