The Public Lands Alliance is now accepting submissions to the 2017 Partnership Awards until November 18, 2016. The Partnership Awards celebrate the best in public lands partnerships, recognizing individuals, organizations, publications, products, programs and services that embody leading edge achievements in the preservation of public lands and the enrichment of visitors.

Those who care deeply about public lands partnerships - including Public Lands Alliance member organizations, other nonprofit organizations, land management agency employees, corporate partners and individuals - may submit to the 2017 Partnership Awards.

This year’s program is sponsored by Impact Photographics, a long-time supporter of public lands.

“Public lands are some of our nation's most valuable, cultural treasures and partnerships between the nonprofit, public and private sectors are imperative to preserving them,” said Chris Layton of Impact Photographics. “That is why Impact Photographics is proud to be sponsoring the Public Lands Alliance Partnership Awards Program.”

Award categories honoring individuals and organizations that are key to the success and vibrancy of public lands partnerships include: The Public Lands Partner Award, Agency Leadership Award, and the Corporate Stewardship Award.

Award categories celebrating products, programs and initiatives created in partnership that enrich and enliven our public lands include: The Publication of the Year Award, Innovative Product of the Year Award, and the Outstanding Public Engagement Awards for Product or Display and for Program or Service.

Award Winners and Honorable Mentions for the 2017 Partnership Awards will be announced at the Closing Banquet and Awards Ceremony of the 2017 Public Lands Alliance Convention and Trade Show and will take place at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA on February 15, 2017.
