The Art & Science of Visual Merchandising: How Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology relate to the shopping experience in your store.
Great visual merchandising is both art and science. In The Art & Science of Visual Merchandising, we explore how the human body—how we see, move, and respond—shapes every shopping decision. By connecting anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to the sales floor, this webinar offers practical, research-informed insights for designing retail spaces that feel intuitive, welcoming, and irresistibly shoppable.
For nearly 40 years, Anne Cecil has been an administrator and educator in Merchandising at Craft Fashion Institute, Drexel University and Community College of Philadelphia. Her consultancy, ONO, offers individual and group services that focus on Retail Merchandising. Speaking topics focus on merchandising techniques that maximize sales & profit. Coaching & consulting services include store analysis, remodels, and new builds.
Following the unique parameters of cultural and non-profit commerce, Anne will work with you to design your floor and implement strategies to create a store that delivers a positive, pleasant, engaging, inclusive, and shoppable customer experience while maximizing sales and profits.
Registration Fee: This webinar is free for PLA Members. A registration fee of $35 will be charged to all other registrants.
