Raising Support from Nonprofit & Corporate Partners

When:  Jul 30, 2026 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM (ET)

Many public lands organizations are looking for new ways to fund events, engage local businesses, and strengthen community connections. Join Brayden Benkiel-Robinson and Kyla Wright as they share practical strategies for building a successful corporate sponsorship program that supports your mission.

Drawing on their experience developing partnerships for public lands organizations, Brayden and Kyla will walk through how to identify potential sponsors, build lasting relationships, and create sponsorship opportunities that provide value for both your organization and your partners. You'll also learn common mistakes to avoid, ways to increase event attendance and volunteer engagement, and simple steps to launch or strengthen your own sponsorship program.

You'll leave with practical ideas, a roadmap for getting started, and a clear understanding of what makes a sponsorship program sustainable over time.

Brayden Benkiel-Robinson is the Director of Engagement for FIND Outdoors, a nonprofit partner supporting public land agencies across the southeastern United States.
