Public land agencies and their nonprofit partners are facing unforeseen challenges as they plan for resumption of their operations, including reopening buildings with new group size limitations. The ParkData Project has developed a free, user-friendly tool for all partners in the PLA network that provides a simple way to track the number of visitors entering and exiting buildings, including public land stores.

Modeled after tools developed by large-scale corporations, the “Parks Count” application can be used by federal land agencies, nonprofit employees, volunteers and concessionaires. Join us for an informational session where we demonstrate this tool, answer questions about the Parks Count resource, and explain the larger technology-driven partnership between Zion National Park, Zion Forever Project, and ParkData.

Presenters:

  • Jason Pitts, President, ParkData

  • Kacey Jones, Assistant Director of Philanthropy, Zion National Park Forever Project

Cost:

  • FREE for PLA Members and PLA Corporate Partners

  • $25 for NonMembers and Government Agency Staff
