Due to public health threats related to COVID-19, many public lands retail operations have had to close their physical stores. However, many online opportunities to purchase engaging public lands products are still open!

By shopping at these at nonprofit stores on public lands, you directly support education programs, restoration efforts and you help ensure these special places are protected. And these products make great gifts for loved ones too!

Check out some examples below of the products PLA's members have available to combat the "stay-at-home" blues, and click the button below to see a full list of active public lands retail operations:

Feeling particularly isolated? Find a friend in Public Lands Interpretive Association's delightful collection of educational puppets for your kiddos, or maybe even you after a couple glasses of wine (no judgement).

Plaited Basket Kit

Start a new crafting hobby with a plaited basket kit! If you're anything like us, being home all the time has made you realize how much STUFF you have, and how useful it is to have containers in which to keep that stuff organized.

How about a nice, handmade basket for those onions that otherwise keep rolling around loose on your counter? Check out the Friends of Black Rock High Rock for this as well as other crafting kits.

Public Lands Calendar

Raise your hand if you don't know what day it is! Yup, same here. Public lands calendars are a great way to enjoy the sights of the lands you love while staying in touch with the reality of whether it's Tuesday or Friday, like this beauty from the Calaveras Big Trees Association

Baseball Caps

Tired of having to be constantly camera ready for your endless Zoom meetings? Want to switch up your hair routine without having to spend 20 minutes in front of the mirror?

Replace the hair gel with a baseball cap a rep your favorite public land, like this Red Rock Canyon cap from Southern Nevada Conservancy
