To our Members, Partners and Friends:
The Association of Partners for Public Lands has adopted a new name and visual identity. At our annual Convention and Trade Show this past March, we became the Public Lands Alliance.
"Public Lands Alliance" captures the essence of our organization - a unified, powerful community dedicated to the preservation, enrichment and enjoyment of America's most treasured places.
In becoming the Public Lands Alliance, our organization continues to fulfill the strategic plan we adopted in 2014. It enables us to align our external identity with our evolution as the national voice for nonprofit public lands partners, a leader in growing effective and successful partnerships, and a vital network for nonprofit leaders and land managers.
Connect. Strengthen. Represent.
Our new tagline encapsulates the value proposition that the Alliance creates for our members. We
connect public lands partners not only to agency leaders and socially conscious corporations, but also to one another in a vibrant peer network. We
strengthen our community through targeted education, training and our other capacity building programs. We
represent our members' interests with elected officials and policy makers.
What To Expect Now
We now have a simpler, cleaner and more modern name and look. Check out Connected Communities and you'll begin to get a feel for the Alliance.
It will take a few months to transition all of our existing resources - from our url to our business cards - and we appreciate your patience as the process unfolds. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Alliance staff along the way if you have any questions or needs.
Our Thanks
On behalf of our Board of Directors, we thank every individual and organization that completed questionnaires, called with ideas and participated in focus groups. These contributions helped to clarify your aspirations for our new brand. We could not have successfully embarked on this journey without your valuable insights and suggestions.
Public Lands Alliance Brand Sponsors
In 2015 - 2016, nonprofit organizations and the Public Lands Alliance Board of Directors raised more than $35,000 to support our new brand and transition from the Association of Partners for Public Lands.
Thank you to the following sponsors for your support:
To our members: welcome to the Public Lands Alliance! As always, we look forward to serving you and moving this community forward.
