Leonie Mowat, Communications and Media Director

Leonie Mowat has spent her career planning and promoting the fun things in life. An early start in freelance event planning for socialites and politicians turned into managing branding and fan engagement at the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Building fan support included growing the neglected Facebook page from 5000 followers to over 10 million, revamping a dwindling fan club into a fully engaging experience, integrating live stream video globally, and creating a traveling tailgate fan zone for UFC and partner events.

She now manages communications and media for Southern Nevada Conservancy/Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association, including the oversight of their web pages and social media accounts that reach over 200,000 people each year. Leonie also directs operations for SNC's growing GO Mt Charleston education and volunteer program in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area.
