Bio

Since February 2015, Megan Cartwright has worked for Eastern National as the Director of Retail, based at the Headquarters Office in Fort Washington, PA. Eastern National is a not-for-profit partner of the National Park Service and promotes the public’s support of America’s national parks by offering educational products and services. Megan is responsible for the day-to-day retail operations of Eastern National, sales training, inventory replenishment, and the agency improvement program.

Prior to joining Eastern National, Megan worked for nearly eight years for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment at Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, as the Vice President of Merchandise. Her responsibilities included strategic planning and all operational aspects of the merchandise and warehouse lines of business. She led a team of 300 full-time and part-time employees.

Megan previously worked for Eastern National from 2004 through 2006 as the unit manager at the Independence Visitor Center store. Prior to working for Eastern National, she was a manager for Borders Group, Inc. and an elementary school teacher in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

With a background in education, Megan is passionate about training and development and has actively participated in a wide variety of leadership seminars and workshops. She has served as a retail trainer within SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and has delivered merchandising management training programs to over 100 merchandise managers and supervisors.
