The Public Lands Alliance is now accepting submissions to the 2018 Partnership Awards until December 1, 2017. The Partnership Awards celebrate the best in partnerships, recognizing individuals, organizations, publications, products, programs and services that embody leading edge achievements in the preservation of public lands and the enrichment of visitors.

Public land nonprofits, land management agencies, companies and individuals may submit to the 2018 Partnership Awards. Entries must demonstrate exceptional partnership efforts.

This year’s program is sponsored by Impact Photographics, a company that has supported public lands and partnerships for over 35 years.

"The preservation and enrichment of our public lands is truly a collaborative effort," said Chris Layton of Impact Photographics. "At Impact Photographics, we have seen tremendous value in working with public land nonprofit partners to produce high quality interpretive products that enrich the visitor experience. We are proud to sponsor this year's Partnership Awards program to showcase partnership efforts in both the public and private sectors across the nation."

Award categories honoring individuals and organizations that are key to the success and vibrancy of public lands partnerships include: The Public Lands Partner Award, Agency Leadership Award, and the Corporate Stewardship Award.

Award categories celebrating products, programs and initiatives created in partnership that enrich and enliven our public lands include: The Publication of the Year Award, Innovative Product of the Year Award, and the Outstanding Public Engagement Awards for Product or Display and for Program or Service.

Award Winners and Honorable Mentions for the 2018 Partnership Awards will be announced at the Closing Banquet and Awards Ceremony of the 2018 Public Lands Alliance Convention and Trade Show at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel in Palm Springs, CA on February 28, 2018.
